Weekend Hourly
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Type: Part-Time
The Weekend Hourly are responsible for the accurate picking and verification of products and orders.
The candidate should be hard working, self-motivated and reliable with the ability to lift up to 30lbs. In addition, the candidate should have a safety conscious attitude and excellent communication skills. This
includes ensuring consistently meets service, quality, productivity, and health & safety targets.
What you will be doing
- Order picking
- Organizing pick sheets to minimize travel time
- Verifying product to pick sheet and retrieving product
- Wrapping orders as required
- Building stock on pallets in safe and logical manner
- Placing orders in correct staging areas
- Inputting information into the company computer system or RF scanner;
- Assisting others as necessary (other warehouse members, customers, or couriers in call area, samples staff, etc.)
- Communicating all shortages or discrepancies within an order to the Supervisor responsible for the daily safety check of equipment for safe operation before order picking
- Following all OHSA policies and procedures
- Ensuring all aisles are free from obstruction and that all strapping, shrink-wrapping, and empty boxes are cleared
- Maintain accurate inventory
- Excellent record keeping required
- Ability to use RF scanners and WMS
- Receive and ship products
- Other duties as assigned
About you
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Understanding of Lot Control and Expire Dates
- Strong attention to detail; proof reading and quality control required
- Able to speak, read and write in English
- Warehouse and order picking experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-directed with the ability to work well with minimal supervision
- Punctual, dependable, and reliable
- Computer literate
- Physically fit - standing, bending, crouching and able to lift up to 30lbs
